Unlike many facilities providing Alzheimer's care, including assisted, Garden Terrace of Houston has based its reputation and pricing philosophy on providing the same consistent quality of care regardless of the level of assistance or skilled services our residents require. As a result, we charge the same rate for a resident who may be admitted at an earlier stage and later progresses to a higher stage of Alzheimer's. We also charge a daily rate, rather than requiring a family member to obligate themselves to an extended monthly or even longer contract. Garden Terrace insists that if you're not satisfied for whatever reason of the quality of life or care that your loved one is receiving, you have the right to leave with virtually no strings attached or commitments. We therefore pledge our dedication daily in order to satisfy your expectations.

Garden Terrace is a private pay facility. Medicare is accepted under the federal guidelines of a skilled nursing facility only if the resident qualifies as needing skilled care after being discharged from a hospital stay of 3 nights. Medicaid is only accepted as a co-insurance to Medicare. Other forms of insurance may be accepted, such as long-term care insurance and Managed Care HMO's. Medicare Part B may cover rehabilitation services for long-term residents.

*Rates include incontinent care products as well as all skilled services, 3 meals per day and snacks, daily linen and housekeeping services, all incontinent care products, restorative nursing, access to the ice cream parlor, transportation shuttle, hospitality suite for guests, and private dining room.

*Amenities for a fee: beauty/barber salon, equipment rentals, dental services, and podiatry services.
